encounter error while setting up MACH

Hi, 

I encounter the error "This is not a valid cert file."

while creating the MACH app.

I am trying to set up PUSH NOTIFICATION for my app.

I followed the instruction and created the cer file. 

But still have this error.

Can you enlighten me, what might be the cause?

  Hi User, 

   

  It seems like you have uploaded as ".cert" extension (missing a step), please help to export as ".p12". 

   

  Here is how you can convert to p12.

   

  1. Open Keychain Access on their Development Mac (The same Mac you generated on the cert from)
  
  

  2. On the left tab select Certificates

   

  3. Locate the cert, and select the private key by pressing the dropdown button.

   

  4. Shift click and select both items, right click and "Export 2 items"
  
  

  5. Save the file and provide a password. (Remember the password, you have to enter it in the MACH portal)

   

   

  Let us know if this resolves your problem.
