SMS delivery to China

China is a heavily censored SMS destination with changing regulations and heavy message blocking on legitimate traffic. This is a problem that all SMS providers like CommzGate faces. We will continue to constantly optimise our delivery routes to China to provide timely SMS delivery but this will be on a best effort basis.

As an alternative solution, many of our customers sending SMS to China have used our PushBox mobile app to delivery OTP messages via our Push Messaging channel. This has proven to be extremely reliable and there is no change needed to your application, the recipients just need to install this mobile app and register their mobile number on the app once.
